The Virtual Africa project of Uthango Social Investments filmed on their sim this morning as part of a plan to create short piece to be broadcast on South African (RL) television which is syndicated through Africa. The goal is to create positive press on potential for virtual worlds. Evidently SL has gotten only negative press in Africa. Come to think of it, there isn’t much press on positive things in SL in USA either.
Those of us who have had opportunity to meet up with Virtual Africa staff, and join their group, got the notice of the filming scheduled today. I got to be in several scenes, but who knows what will end up in the final cut.

I am just hoping that Alanagh Recreant is successful in this endeavor – and it begins to generate tie-ins to Virtual Africa sim from many places.
