finally “found” the conference – a day late

I know the sign that I saw today when I went back to the social hub was NOT there on Saturday.  At least not all day.  I will reserve the comments I could make about the physical organization of the social hub.  The Lindens were so supportive about advertising this link into the conference on the login page, and I know it generated traffic.  I was there.    However, hardly anyone could figure out how to get to the conference session, much less know that the FABulous setup at Memorial University existed.  And – where were the spaces for socializing at the Social Hub?  If we were all ovis aries (sheep) instead of homo sapiens, perhaps we would have responded differently to the vast expanses of open green grass.  As a matter of fact, I did meet two sheep, yes two sheep avatars, there on Saturday.  [Not kidding]  When asked about why they came – the response was the nice green grass attracted them.   I am very curious to know about the traffic patterns and levels of traffic at the Memorial site and the Rockcliffe site.  My instinct tells me the lack of effective linkage between these sites from each other is something that needs to be addressed for next time.
